Dr David Clayton

David is a graduate of the University of Manchester and the Cranfield Institute of Technology, with specialist knowledge of engineering and financial business management based on over thirty-five years in senior industrial management positions.  He is a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

By investment he became joint Managing Director/shareholder of his own engineering and electronics company which shareholding he sold in 1992. At exit the company had an international reputation, serviced a blue chip customer base and employed over 80 personnel.

He worked for McKechnie Brothers plc as a consultant dealing with acquisitions and disposals and went on to float an e-commerce solution provider on the stock exchange in April 2000. He was the driving force behind the establishment of telematics solutions specialist GlobalLive Ltd in 2005.
